Telephone Consultations for Monday March 23rd
From tomorrow GP’s across New Zealand are aiming to do 70% of consultations virtually
via phone or other platforms.
We want everyone to know that we are continuing our care of patients but this will be delivered
differently for now. Please DO NOT stop making appointments with your GP. Even in these times normal
medical issues come up that need to be sorted. People will still get cancer, people will still get infections
that need treatment, many people will struggle with mental health and need assistance.
Individual practices will be sending information out to their patients soon. If in doubt please call your

– this is a huge change that we have had to implement in under 24hrs. We are trying our hardest but the system will not be perfect
at least to begin with.
