Who can use the services at West End Medical Centre?

Our services are available for enrolled patients only. If enrolments are open, you can register to use us as your regular, ongoing doctor.

You can enrol by contacting our reception team. You will need to fill out an enrolment form and provide some documentation that shows you are eligible. More about that here. Once enrolled, you’ll have access to all our GP and nurse-led services.

West End Medical Centre is one of the newly installed Neighbourhood Healthcare homes, which allows us to provide more pro-active and coordinated care for our patients. This means your health needs can be managed more efficiently, with earlier interventions and better follow-up.

We are constantly exploring new ways to improve your experience. Our nurse-led clinics, along with our focus on proactive care, ensure patients receive timely support and advice, helping you stay on top of your health.

Our diverse team includes GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including Māori, Pākehā, French, Inuit, and English clinicians. You can view more about our staff and their availability here.

You can request prescriptions through the ManageMyHealth portal or via our phone script messaging system (438 9050, then follow the prompts).

  • Standard scripts: processed within more than TWO business days
  • Urgent scripts: required within TWO business days, with a $25 charge

Please note: urgent scripts requested late on a Friday will be available from the pharmacy Monday afternoon. Please don’t email us for prescription requests, as the system is not regularly monitored.

ManageMyHealth™ is a secure online platform that lets you book standard appointments, request repeat prescriptions, and view test results and consultation notes.
