COVID-19 – Omicron
Omicron is now in the community. To help you prepare if you or someone in your household get infected, please use the documents attached below.
If you are unwell get tested then stay at home until you have completed 10 days isolation. If the result is positive you must isolate immediately. We will be notified and you will be contacted by either West End Medical , Public Health or Northland Covid Clinical Hub. If you have not been contacted within 48 hours please contact West End Medical by phone. In most cases the symptoms of Omicron will be very mild or non-existent. Processes are in place for us or after hour services to provide continuing monitoring but if you are mild or have no symptoms you will be asked to self monitor at home. You will be provided with the information you need to self monitor.
